I was raised in Paris, but I am a frog that hopped across the channel and has been living in London for the past eight years. (J'ai grandi à Paris, mais je suis une grenouille qui a sauté à travers la Manche et qui vit à Londres depuis huit ans.)

When people ask me what I'm doing in London, I always struggle a little bit to answer because I'm a multi-hyphenate person. (Lorsque les gens me demandent ce que je fais à Londres, j'ai toujours un peu de mal à répondre car je suis une personne polyvalente.)

It has that "quartier" feel, like living in a neighborfood. (Il y a cette ambiance de quartier)

A wardrobe of basics with pieces that mix and match throughout the seasons, throughout the years and you don't need to shop that much, you're not focused on trends. (Une garde-robe de basiques avec des pièces qui se mélangent et s'accordent au fil de saisons, au fil des années, et il n'y a pas besoin d'acheter tant que ça, tu ne te focalises pas sur les tendances)

* mix and match = se mélange et s'accorder 섞이고 어울리는

I'm really strict now before I buy something new because I know that I need to make sure that it gets worn properly, so there's  that. (Je suis vraiment stricte maintenant avant d'acheter quelque chose de nouveau car je sais que je dois m'assurer de le porter correctement, donc voilà)

I also operate a one in, one out policy, meaning that every time that I want to buy something new, I have to make sure that I sell or get rid of something first. (Je fonctionne aussi sur le principe d'un en plus, un en moins, ce qui veut dire qu'à chaque fois que je veux acheter quelque chose de nouveau, je dois m'assurer de vendre ou de me débarrasser de quelque chose d'abord)

* s'assurer de = have to make sure

* one in, one out = un en plus, un en moins 

* every time that I want to buy something new = à chaque fois que je veux acheter quelque chose de nouveau, / à chaque fois 매번 = every time

That means either selling them on, taking it to the local charity shop and then also getting your friends to come over and pick out whatever that want and doing the same in their wardrobes, which is super helpful to change things up. (Soit je vends, soit je vais dans une boutique caritative locale, et j'invite aussi mes amies à venir prendre ce qu'elles veulent et à faire la même chose dans leurs gardes-robes, ce qui est très utile pour changer les choses)

The flat itself, I've lived in it for two years. (Je vis dans cet appartement depuis deux ans)

I've had to mix and match everything because it's one big space. (J'ai dû tout assortir car c'est un seul grand espace)

Most of the things actually is second hand. (La plupart des choses sont de seconde main)

I love getting up early and going to the market that is called Kempton. (J'adore me lever tôt et aller au marché qui s'appelle Kempton)

You can find everything and all the beautiful pieces of furniture that I found, like the chest of drawers and marble for my bathroom, all the mirrors, in fact practically everything in there, except for the art, is vintage. (Tu peux trouver de tout et tous les beaux meubles que j'ai trouvés, comme la commode en marbre dans ma salle de bain, tous les miroirs, en fait, presque tout ici, sauf l'art, est vintage)
